Conventional and BBQ Menu 2

My Weber Charcoal Kettle BBQ has seen a bit of action this summer. This menu is a more elaborate buffet which we thought was nicely balanced. Only a small portion was on the BBQ.

One of the guests has Celiac, so much of this was gluten free (indicated by *). As it happens the only thing we really had to do differently was ensure the Soy Sauce and Mayonnaise were gluten free.

Starter:
24 Savoury mini muffins *
Variety of dips and appetizers: Olives, Sun dried tomatoes, Tzatziki *

Main:
Sweet Soy BBQ Chicken – using Gluten Free Soy Sauce *
Beef Burgers *
Green Salad with Ornit’s Dressing *
Carrot Salad *
Cherry Tomato Salad *
Potato Salad – using Gluten Free Mayonnaise *
White Baps (or any Bread)
Condiments: Tomato Sauce, Mustard, Mayonnaise

Desert:
Mixed Fruit Salad: Strawberries, Blueberries, Melon, Sweet Grapefruit, with sauce of Mango and Orange Juice plus blended Raspberries *
Vanilla Ice Cream
Muffins: Banana and Chocolate, Spicy Apple
Coffee *
