I really like Chinese Honey Braised Soy Chicken and I seem to recall having a beef version in a restaurant sometime, with sesame seeds added. This is my version. You will need to prepare the Honey Soy Sauce / Marinade before hand. Serve on plain steamed rice.
Depending on the ingredients and proportions this recipe can be anything from a Japanese teriyaki through to a Chinese honey braised soy chicken. Whatever the consistency you’ll end up with a sweet sticky chicken delight. You will need to prepare the Honey Soy Sauce / Marinade.
I love a sweet and sour combination. This recipe is an Asian sweat and sour sauce that I’ve been making forever. Serve on steamed fish and vegetables with rice. For an American style sweet and sour recipe see my Bone Sucking Sauce.
