Potato Latkes

Avichai Eisinger was coming to stay at Hanukah and he likes potatoes. So we asked his mum, Leah, what to make.

Potato Latkes

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Potatoes 6-7 Medium sized
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Bit of spicy paprika
  • Salt
  • 1-2 Eggs
  • 2-3 tablespoons flour

Method
 

  1. Peel potatoes and grate them
  2. Grate or crush garlic
  3. Add everything together
  4. Mix well
  5. Heat up oil for deep frying
  6. Drop tablespoons of mixture into oil; remove Latkes from oil when golden on both sides

Notes

Serve with Tzatziki or sour cream
