Galit bought some chicken and potato for Saturday lunch. I wasn’t too inspired that day so Galit knocked up quite a tasty meal from her head.
Galit's Chicken and Potato in the Oven
Ingredients
- 800 grams Chicken drumsticks
- 1.5 kg potatoes
- Olive oil
- Sea salt
- Sweet chilli
- Date Syrup
- 2 teaspoons of onion soup mix or onion stock mix
- 1/2 cup of boiling water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 190° C
- Mix chicken, potatoes, oil and salt in an oven tray
- Pour chilli and date syrup over the chicken and potatoes to taste
- Mix onion soup mix and water
- Pour oniony water over the chicken and potato
- Cook covered in oven for 30 minutes
- Uncover
- Cook uncovered in oven for 30 minutes
