Robert makes a fantastic apricot jam. He always gives me some to take home from our family holidays.
Apricot Jam / Riba Mishmish
- 1.5 kg fresh apricots
- 1 kg sugar
- 1 lemon juice only
- Remove stones from apricots to make about 1 kg of fruit
- Mix all ingredients
- Cook 1 to 1.5 hours. Remove froth as it forms. When water disappears it is ready.
- Pour into sterile jars
