Spaghetti alla Puttanesca

“Spaghetti as a whore would make it”. Yum. Sharp. We make it a lot. Wendy recommends serving it with beans fried in cheese.
 

Spaghetti alla Puttanesca

Ingredients
  1. 4 tablespoons olive oil
  2. 3 cloves garlic
  3. Tin tomatoes + juice
  4. 1 tablespoon capers - chopped small
  5. 16 black olives - chopped large
  6. 1 small chilli - chopped fine
  7. 1 tablespoon fresh oregano - chopped fine (You can substitute 1 teaspoon dry oregano for fresh)
  8. 75 grams tin anchovies (optional)
  9. 1 tablespoon parsley - chopped fine
Instructions
  1. Sauté garlic in oil until golden
  2. Add tomatoes, capers, olives,chilli, oregano
  3. Cook uncovered 20 minutes. Stir a bit.
  4. Add anchovies and parsley
  5. Cook 2 minutes
  6. Serve with parmesan cheese
