I first made Mustard Sauce with Chicken but this sauce is also good with steak. This recipe will make enough sauce for about four people.
Mustard Cream Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 T oil
- 1 small onion chopped
- 1 tablespoon mustard hot
- 2 tablespoons mustard with seeds
- 1 cup white wine or half and half water and wine
- 250 ml cream
- 100 grams butter or margarine
Instructions
- Heat oil in a frying pan
- Add onion to pan
- Fry until golden
- Add mustards and mix well
- Add white wine and cook until thickened
- Add cream and cook until thickened
- Add butter
- Stir until dissolved
