Devilled Chicken
Ingredients
- 1 kg chicken pieces without skin and fat 2 pieces per person
- salt and pepper
- 1 large onion - grated
- 2 cloves garlic
- 3 tablespoons chutney
- 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 2 teaspoons Worcester sauce
- 1 teaspoon curry powder
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
- Butter
Instructions
- Season chicken lightly
- Place chicken in greased baking dish
- Mix onion, garlic, chutney, tomato sauce, worcester sauce, curry powder, mustard
- Spread over chicken
- Bake, uncovered, at 170 °C for 1 hour
- Dot chicken with butter
- Continue baking until chicken is cooked
Notes
Serve with baked potatoes, soured cream, and a salad.
