Devilled Chicken

Servings: 4

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg chicken pieces without skin and fat 2 pieces per person
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 large onion - grated
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 tablespoons chutney
  • 3 tablespoons tomato sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Worcester sauce
  • 1 teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
  • Butter

Method
 

    1. Season chicken lightly
  1. Place chicken in greased baking dish
  2. Mix onion, garlic, chutney, tomato sauce, worcester sauce, curry powder, mustard
  3. Spread over chicken
  4. Bake, uncovered, at 170 °C for 1 hour
  5. Dot chicken with butter
  6. Continue baking until chicken is cooked
  7. Notes

    Serve with baked potatoes, soured cream, and a salad.
