Bran Muffins

A classic from the days when the only muffins were bran muffins.
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 cups bran
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar
- Fruit and crap
- 1 1/2 tablespoons golden syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 cups milk
- 3/4 cups water
- 1 egg
Mix flour, bran, baking powder, baking soda, sugar and fruit
Melt golden syrup and butter
Add milk, water and egg to butter. Mix.
Pour liquids over the dry ingredients
Mix (at most 20 strokes)
Bake at 180ยบ C for 15-20 minutes
