Orit's Hot Apple Cake

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Granny Smith apples peeled & sliced finely
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil weak flavour like canola
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Instructions
 

  • Pre-heat oven to 180º C
  • Set the apple slices in the oiled 26 cm round tin
  • Spread the cinnamon and sugar over apples.
  • Mix the flour, sugar, oil, eggs and raisins.
  • Spread the mixture on the apples.
  • Bake for 30 minutes at 180º C until the cake is "gold" (light brown).
  • Serve hot with ice-cream.
